The Crystal Maze mobile game to launch this month
Classic TV gameshow The Crystal Maze is to be made into a mobile game.
The title, which has been produced by mobile media company Player X and developers Dynamo Games, is to be distributed to UK operators later this month.
O2 and Virgin Mobile are among the operators likely to sell the games due to Player X’s position as exclusive aggregator.
The single player title, which features original host Richard O’Brien, requires gamers to collect crystals … in 20 mini-games spread across four zones; Aztec, Industrial, Medieval and Future.
Tony Pearce, CEO of Player X, said, “The Crystal Maze was a TV phenomenon in the UK and we’re confident it will make a similar impact in the mobile games space.”
